Mrs. Annie Stalvey Lee, wife of Joseph Walker Lee, of the Socastee section of Horry County died April 17, 1962. Mrs. Lee was born in the Socastee section of Horry County, Aug. 9, 1888, a daughter of the late John Stalvey and Patience New Stalvey. She had been a member of the Socastee Pentecostal Holiness Church since 1937. Mrs. Lee was twice married and surviving the first marriage to the late Moses Stalvey, who died in 1914, is the son, Whitaker S. Stalvey of Rt. 1 Myrtle Beach.
Surviving the second marriage is her husband, Joseph W. Lee of Rt. 1 Myrtle Beach; one son Joseph W. Lee Jr. of Myrtle Beach; two daughters Mrs. Melvin (Mildred) Owens of Bladenboro NC, Mrs. Elwood (Erma) Causey of Rt. 1 Myrtle Beach; one sisters Mrs. Helen Lee of Charleston 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
