Mrs. Joseph (Tecla M.) Scholle, 94, formerly of La Salle, died at 1:10 p.m. Aug. 29 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Joliet, where she had been admitted earlier in the day.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Mueller and Pagani Funeral Home, La Salle, and at 10 a.m. in Resurrection Church. The Rev. James J. Swaner will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Webster Park. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today, with a scripture service at 6 p.m.

She was born Nov. 6, 1897 in Peru to William and Catherine (Sonntag) Wagner. She married Joseph C. Scholle on May 11, 1921 in St. Joseph's Church, Peru.

She was a member of Resurrection Church and the Womans Catholic Order of Foresters.

She is survived by a son, William J. Scholle of Westchester; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Rita) Egan of Joliet, with whom she had made her home the last 2 1/2 years; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Jan. 9, 1960, a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Ennenbach, and four sisters.
