HOPE MILLS -- Donald Marsh Jones, 79, of 6276A Hackberry Drive died Friday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Mr. Jones was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake by the Rev. Tim Gore.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Thelma Jones of the home; a son, Owen M. Jones of Cherokee; a stepdaughter, Mary F. Swick of Fayetteville; a stepson, Samuel L. Moon of Asheboro; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
