Carol Louise (Frick) Rynkiewicz

CARY -- On December 17, 2007, one of God's finest creations was called home by her precious Lord and Savior. While visiting her daughter, Dianna with her husband Ray, Carol Louise Rynkiewicz passed away at her daughter's home in Benicia, CA. Carol's passing was due to vascular complications following a heart attack that she suffered Thanksgiving Day.

Carol was born on January 13, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA where she spent her childhood and attended West Catholic High School for girls. In 1958 Carol joined the Women Marine Reserves where she met Ray, her husband of 48 years. They married in June of 1959; a marriage blessed by four wonderful and devoted children and a deep love and committed devotion for each other.

Although Carol had a severe speech impediment as a result of a stroke suffered in 1983, she bore her infirmities with grace and never lost her faith or trust in the Lord! She was an inspiration to all who knew her as she embraced everyone she met with a warmth and sincerity that shone from her like a beacon.

"When she shall die, take her and cut her into a thousand stars and she will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night."

Carol is survived by her husband, Ray; her four children, Stan Rynkiewicz of Cary, Maria Rynkiewicz of Zebulon, Dianna Rynkiewicz of Benicia, CA, and Roger Rynkiewicz of Poughkeepsie, NY; four sisters, Lois Highland of Pine Hill, NJ, Kathleen Tew of Somerdale, NJ, Rose Nelson of Pennsburg, PA, and Helene Krause of Woodbury, NJ; five grandchildren, Lisa Marie, James, Sara Lynn, Julia Franchesca and Emma Rose.

She will also be terribly missed by her devoted four-legged furry friend Sparky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary, NC.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownwynne.com

At the time of her death she was 69 years of age.
