Final rites for 22 year old Daniel Wain, Nixon soldier who was killed in Korea recently, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Community church in Nixon. Brother David of the Episcopal church will officiate. Burial will be in Nixon cemetery.
The resident of Nixon joined the armed services Nov. 21, 1950. He was a native of Aberdeen, Wash.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Flora Smith of Nixon and he was the brother of Mrs. Cora McCauley, Reno; Fred, Melvin, Virginia, Arleen and Stanley Smith all of Nixon. His grandfather, Louie McCloud of Nixon also survives.
