Betty Jean Pittman, 67, of Geraldine, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Trinity Hospital, in Birmingham.
Services will be today, Tuesday, Nov 23, at noon at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery. W. T. Wilson Funeral Home, in Rainsville, is in charge.
She was preceded in death by parents, Pearl and Elva Dalton; husband, Randall Pittman and brother, Johnny Dalton.
Mrs. Pittman was a retired R.N. and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Pittman, of Fyffe, Lora Lewis, Collinsville, and Lisa Townsel, Gadsden; sons, Bobby Pittman and Shawn Pittman; both of Geraldine; sisters, Peggy Gilbert, Fyffe, Faye Combs, Rainsville, Darlene Gallahar, Christine Barrett, Geraldine, Anita Light, Grove Oak, and Melissa Blevins, Idler; brothers, Danny Dalton, and Randal Dalton, both of Geraldine, W. J. Dalton, Rainsville and Larry Dalton, Grove Oak; 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
