Mrs. Shirley C. Norris, age 71, passed away May 12, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Shirley was born January 4, 1951, a daughter of the late James Clifton and Pauline Roberts Cook. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands: Bill Norris and Daniel Norris; and one brother: Sam Cook. Mrs. Shirley was of the Baptist faith and loved all Elvis music, sewing, and was an avid book reader. She was a great care giver and loved her family dearly. She is survived by two stepchildren: Betty and James Norris; three brothers: Danny Cook (Alice), William Cook, Cecil Cook (Renee) all of Lancaster; two sisters: Sara Cook (Reuben) of Lake View, Dora Jane Lucas (Alvin) of Kershaw; one sister-in-law: Beth Cook of Fort Lawn; a special aunt: Irene Johnson (William) of Aynor; many loving nieces and nephews; and a special neighbor that was very close and helpful: Travis Coley. Visitation will be held from 2:00-2:45 PM Monday, May 16, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Thad Jacobs and Elder David Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Ariel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
