Married Marie Ferre, February 24, 1956, divorced; married Kathy Bastian September 24, 1975. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who loved the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a jack-of-all trades and willing to help anyone. Employed by United Pipe; Mountain State Steel; retired from Geneva Steel; Longtime member of the Timpanogos Archery Club and bowled on many leagues.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Baum; sons, Bret Baum, Clint (Maria) Baum; daughter, Jo (Bill) Proctor; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Gary (Linda) Baum; sister, Carol (Bill) Gough; Mother-in-law, Shirley Bastian.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Northridge 2nd Ward Chapel, 150 East 1750 North in Orem. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. in Orem and also Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the ward chapel.
