Funeral services were held at the home at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Mary Revels Summerlin (1873-1943) who died early Sunday, with Rev. W. J. Churchwell officiating.
Burial was made in Oak Hill East Cemetery, with W. Carl Davis & Son in charge.
Surviving are three sons, William Henry Jr., and J. W. Summerlin of this city, three daughters, Mrs. Verdie Allen and Mrs. Gertrude Geiger, Palatka and Miss Ethel Wright of Foley; one brother, Henry Walker Revels, Lake City and one grandchild. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Monday 10 May 1943.)
