Rita M. Ryan entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010. She was 79.She was the loving wife of the late Norman E. Ryan Sr. who passed away in 1997. Born in Camden, N.J., Rita lived in Levittown for more than 40 years.Millennium Home Health Care had employed her for more than ten years.Rita's family was her passion. She will be remembered above all things for her unconditional love of family and friends. As we reflect on Rita's time with us, remember those things that made her so beloved to us; her dedication and devotion to family, her kindness to strangers, her sacrifices for her children, and her love for us all.

Surviving are five children, John Joseph Bangs, Joseph C. Bangs and his wife, Margaret, Norman Dominic Ryan and his wife, Barbara, Norma J. Holzworth and Norman E. Ryan Jr. and his wife, Monique; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Daniel Leibrand and his wife, Mary; and sister, Joan Preston. Rita was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Rita's life celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Beck Givnish of Levittown, 7400 New Falls Road, where her funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Interment will be privately and at the convenience of her family.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Rita's name to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
