THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri., May 16, 1919

Mr. Marion M. Koger died at his home near Preston on Wednesday the 7th of May. He was 87 years old.

Mr. Koger spent his entire life as a resident of Henry County and was one of her most valuable and upright citizens.

He is survived by one son, Mr. M. B. Koger of Preston, and six daughters, Misses Kora and Gillie Koger of Preston, Mrs. J. W. Matthews of Martinsville, Mrs. John Lewis, Oklona, Ohio, Miss Judith Koger, Spartanburg, S.C, and Miss Woodson Koger, Richmond, Va.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the residence and the body was buried in the family burying ground.

The following gentlemen acted as pall bearers, Messrs. G. A. Koger, W. M. Koger, K. C. Koger, Robert Matthews, Maurice Hodges and J. W. B. Taylor Jr.
