Thomas Dickson Brown was the first born, out of 14, to Allen and Mary Waggoner Brown. I believe his parents were Quakers who crossed over to Brethren.

Thomas was found in Placer Co., CA in 1852, I presume in search of gold.

Thomas married Susanah Heaston June 3, 1854, in Iowa.
From this union, came an issue of 6.
Daniel Walter
Margaret Matilda
Jacob A
John Grant
Kesiah Josephine
Clarissa Ann

Note: I had previously found on an LDS user submitted tree that Thomas's "D" was for Dempsey. I have since found the Obit. of his son, John G Brown, which stated: Dickson. If anyone can provide further evidence, on either, I would be glad to see it.

Thanks to Darrell Brown (#47458585) for the marriage date. And he also sites a one year discrepancy in the DOB, Feb 4, 1832.
