C. R. Beck Rites Held Monday At Church of Christ

Funeral services for Chester R. Beck, 51, of north of Maysville, were conducted at the Church of Christ here Monday afternoon by John L. Greeson minister.

A native of Garvin county, Mr. Beck died Saturday at an Oklahoma City hospital after a short illness. His death was attributed to leukemia.

He farmed for a number of years in the Cottonwood and Garvin Springs communities before moving to four miles north of here in 1953. He lived in Garvin county all his life except for a short time when he made his home in California.

Survivors are he wife, Mrs. Chester R. Beck of the home, two sons, Bennie of Maysville and Edward of Oklahoma City; his mother, Mrs. Rose Beck, Maysville; three sisters, Mrs. C. C. Carpenter and Miss Thelma Beck, Maysville, and Mrs. Stella Lombo of Diamond Springs, Calif.; two brothers, L. C. Beck, Richmond, Calif., and Vernon Beck, Maysville, and two grandchildren.

Burial was in the Maysville cemetery under direction of the Winans Funeral home.
