Mrs. Gus Segerstrom, who died very suddenly, October 9th, at her home near Arthur was 67 years, 9 months and 21 days of age.
She was born in Sweden in 1846, where she lived until after her marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Segerstrom came to the United States in 1881, settling on a farm in Hayes Township, Ida County, Iowa.
Nine children were born to them, five of whom are living; Axel, Carl, Willie, Esther and Emma, now Mrs. Frank Heitman, who are all residents of Hayes township. Besides these she leaves: two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, seven grand-children, one sister and brother in Sweden, to mourn her death.
