Sunday morning about 3 o'clock Mr. Ed Bonta died at his home about a mile from town on the Burgin Pike. He was ill but a few days of pneumonia and diabetes. He was an excellent citizen and held in high esteem by all who knew him. After a service in the resident Monday morning, his remains were taken to Bearea (this should be Bethel) and laid beside those of his wife who died less than a year ago. Five children survive them.
