Sawyer Erik Williams Sawyer Erik Williams died peacefully in the loving arms of his parents, Erik and Michelle on June 3, 2010 at Comer Children's Hospital in Chicago. Born June 1, 2010, Sawyer touched many lives during his short time with us and had shown tremendous strength and will. Sawyer is survived by his big sister, Sadie; Paternal grandmother, Carolyn Williams; Maternal grandparents, John and Kathleen Tarrant; Great-grandmother, Katherine Shanahan; Aunts and uncles, Tom and Bridget Tarrant, Steve and Stacey Tarrant, Tim and Christine Tarrant, Dale and Mary (Tarrant) Leonard, Paul and Molly (Williams) Bladen and Sarah Williams; Cousins, Zach, Gabrielle, Emily, Elizabeth, Melissa, Michael, Joey, Johnny, Tori, Jacob, Ella and Lilly. Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Arthur Donald Williams and one uncle, James Joseph Tarrant. Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mokena. Sawyer's parents would like to thank the NICU staff at Comer Children's Hospital for their loving care and support of their son during his brief life.
