Williams, Okey M. - Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, with the Rev. Woodrow Beard officiating.

Burial will be in Balser Cemetery, Pond Gap.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams, 90, of Glasgow, formerly of Pond Gap, died Nov. 24, 1989, in Montgomery General Hospital after a short illness.

He was a native of Nicholas County and a longtime resident of Kanawha County. He was a former teacher, former superintendent of High Vein Coal Co., and a retired supervisor for the state Department of Highways. He was a member of Pond Gap Advent Christian Church. He was a notary public and provided advice on clerical matters to residents of the community.

Surviving: daughters, Helen Scarbro of Rand, Alma Kinder of Blue Creek; sons, Orville L. of Pond Gap, Alva D. of Du Pont City; sister, Louise Legge of Baltimore; brother, Lemon of Baltimore; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
