Sarah Margaret Reno Craig, the daughter of William Reno and Elvina Rhodes, was born in Kentucky on May 28, 1862. At the time of the 1880 Census of Short Creek, Grayson County, Kentucky the William Reno family consisted of: Wm., a farmer, age 61; his wife Elvina, a house keeper, age 61; and daughters: Louisa, age 32; and Sarah M., age 17. William, Elvina and Louisa Reno were born in Tennessee. Sarah M. Reno was born in Kentucky.

Sarah M. Reno was the wife of John Seth Craig, the son of William Asbury Craig and Eliza Ann Wood. She died in Grayson County at the age of 79 on September 12, 1941. She was buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Leitchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky.
