William H. Mark died at his home near Attica Tuesday, March 16, 1915, aged about 48 years. Death came as the direct result of a stroke of paralysis, which occurred Friday, however, he had been in poor health for the past two years and under the care of a physician several times prior to his last severe sickness.
Deceased was a son of John and Dorthy Ann Mark, pioneers of Indiana Township, and was born in Marion County.
Twenty-six years ago, on March 16, 1889, he was united in marriage with Miss Nora Cade. His death occurred on the anniversary of the marriage.
To the union of Will H. Mark and Miss Nora Cade there is one child, Miss Eunice, who is still at home. Besides his wife and daughter he leaves two brothers and two sisters. One of the brothers is E.L. Mark of Knoxville.
The funeral services will be held at the M. E. Church in Attica today (Thursday) conducted by the pastor, Rev. R.S. Tague. Burial in Indiana Chapel cemetery.
