He was a native of Darke County, Ohio, and had been a resident of Muncie for 50 years. He was employed at the Chevrolet-Muncie.
He is survived by the widow, Elzore; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Rittenhouse of Muncie; his mother, Mrs. Mary Trissel of Columbus, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Schwarzkopf of Columbus, and Mrs. Dollie Quate of Muncie; two sons, Pfc. Woodrow Trissel of Fort Jackson, S.C. and Raymond E. Trissel of Muncie; and a brother, Noble of Muncie.
