Wesley Stuart, age 61, prosperous farmer and useful citizen of the western section of Henry County, died suddenly Monday while at work on his plantation near Preston. His body was found by a son, lying in a field where he had been at work. Death was probably due to heart trouble, from which he had been suffering for some time. Funeral services were held from the Old Well Christian Church near Spencer Wednesday afternoon and interment made in the church cemetery. The deceased was a consistent member of the Fieldale Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife, who before her marriage was Miss Susie E. Hundley of this county, are four sons: R. L., H. L., G. L. and David Stuart; two daughters, Mrs. Truman Taylor and Bess Stuart, all of Henry county. One brother, George Stuart and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Trent of Critz, also survive.
