Otho Lee Mann Rites Wednesday
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for Otho Lee Mann, 72, Mabscott, who died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital following an illness of several weeks.
Rites will be conducted in the Mount Tabor Baptist Church of which he was a member, with the Rev. B. C. Jennings and the Rev. B. L. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Born Dec. 1, 1880, in Monroe County, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mann. He resided in Raleigh County 50 years and was a blacksmith until his retirement.
His wife, Kate, preceded him in death in 1941.
Survivors include four sons, Robert, Mabscott; Carl, Harper Road; Samuel, Cabell; and Omer, Beckley; two brothers, Joe L., Acme, Iowa; and Weldon, Hinton; four sisters, Mrs. Mannie Saunders, Bellepoint; Mrs. Bessie Campbell and Mrs. Dewey Walthall, both of Hinton; and Mrs. Della Comer, Pisgah; and two grandchildren.
The body will remain at Calfee Funeral Home until the hour of the service.

Otho's grave is in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery annex, which is situated to the left of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, and on the same side of the road as the church. It is surrounded by a chain-link fence.
