Perry Tree was an active Quaker Minister, evidently never married, but lived with his parents when he wasn't gone to other towns or states to preach. His niece Alpha Perry remembers him when he visited them in New Mexico. He died in New Mexico in 1914, was returned and buried next to his step mother and father in the Fruitland Cemetery about three miles west of Americus, Kansas. His mothers name was Nancy Ann Dail passed away in 1855 in North Carolina
