Canton, Betty Worley Jackson, 78, of 2774 Beaverdam Road died Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Genie West Worley and was the widow of the late Lowell E. Jackson who died in 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of Long Branch Baptist Church where she served as assistant pianist.
Surviving are, three sons, Michael, Danny and Patrick Jackson all of Canton., two sisters, Louise Scott and Margaret King both of Canton and three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11.00 a.m. on Friday, November 7th at Long Branch Baptist Church with the Reverends Jack Scott and Gene Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy, Leroy and Billy Worley, Tim McCord, Denny King and Jimmy Owens.
