Marjorie R. Peake
Marjorie R. Peake, 75, of Paso Robles, Calif., and former long-time Livingston resident, died there on Monday of natural causes.
Mrs. Peake was born Feb. 9, 1909, at Litchfield, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Ella Murphy. The family lived in Brainard, Minn., for several years before moving to Billings in 1919. In 1920 they moved here. Mrs. Peake graduated from Park High in 1927.
On Nov. 14, 1931, she married Edward J. Peake at Bozeman. He died Mar. 8, 1975. She had made her home at Paso Robles for the last two or three years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gateway Temple of the Pythian Sisters, both of Livingston, and the Senior Citizens of Paso Robles.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at the Franzen-Davis-Bebee Chapel at 3 p.m. The Rev. Robert Noblitt of First Baptist Church will officiate. Ritualistic services will be held in the chapel by Gateway Temple of the Pythian Sisters. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Peake is survived by one son, Dr. Edward Peake of Paso Robles, Calif., two sisters, Onnalee Garrison of Livingston, and Edna Flynn of Tacoma, Wash., three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
