Married Galen C. RUCH in Springfield, IL on Sept. 18, 1926. They lived in Hannibal, MO for 20 years and moved to Marshalltown, IA in 1946 where they farmed until retirement in 1969. They had two adopted children. Also they raised two nephews who were sons of Amy's sister Clara Bell MILLER. Clara died when the two boys were still very young.

Mrs. RUCH was survived by a son and a sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, and eight brothers and sisters.
