Lucy Brandt Dies at 83

Mrs. Lucy M. Brandt, 83, long time local resident, died early this morning in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Franzen Chapel followed by burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
She was born July 6, 1885, in Albans, Vt., and spent her early life and received her education in Kalispell. She later lived in Glendive and Forsyth.
She married Edward Peake June 30, 1906, in Glendive. He preceded her in death in 1918. In 1928 she came to Livingston and had made her home here since. She married Earl Brandt in October, 1935, in Livingston.
Surviving are her husband of Livingston; three sons, Edward J. Peake of Livingston, Earl Brandt, Jr., of St. Paul, Minn., and Richard Brandt of Livingston; two daughters, Elizabeth Smith of Seattle and Maxine Meigs of St. Paul; a sister Florence Temple of Kelso, Wash., two grandchildren, Edward Martin of Livingston and Dr. E. H. Peake of Harlowton; and five great grandchildren.
