RILEY, Virginia Lorraine, 56, of Botetourt Co., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2001. She was a loving wife, mother, and nanny. She was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Morris and Avis Hamm. Survivors include her beloved husband of 40 years, Donald L. Riley, Jr.; daughters and son-in-law, Robin and Kenny Foster of Sumner, Mo., Loretta Hale and fiance, Richard Loving of Roanoke; son, Donald L. Riley, Jr. and companion, Pamela Ferguson of Roanoke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bea and Joe Hein of Silver Springs, Md., Thelma Walls and companion, Steve Beebe of Louisa, Annie and Mitch Johns of Richmond; brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis Profit and companion, Martha of Trap Hill, N.C., Melvin and Mary Johnson of Moneta, Richard and Shirley Johnson of King George; grandchildren, Christopher Hale, Sherri Booze, Kristy Riley and fiance, Daniel King, Keith Hale, Brandon Riley, Amber Agnor, Heather Riley, Kendra Foster; special great-niece, Amanda Riley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bev and Dorothy Rakes, Leon and Wanda Riley, Tommy and Patsy Smith, Harvey and Becky Riley; foster daughters, Ruth and Joann; foster daughter, Regan. Also many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2001 at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Brian Clingenpeel officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
