Walter worked for his brother-in-law, John M. Dunn Sr.in Miami, FL. Nell & Walter lived with her parents, in Hialeah, for awhile till Nell's brother, John, built a small home for them about 1938. Nell's brothers ( John M., Charles A. & Robert S.) help support Nell & Walter during the depression. Nell worked at Richards Department Store in Miami til she died ( 1967 - age 74).
