Dorothy E. Albright, 75, of Manchester Township, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at her home. She was the wife of John W. Albright. The couple observed their 55th wedding anniversary Dec. 1. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, 947 N. George St., York. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Cremation will take place at White Rose Crematorium. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Albright was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Hanover. She was the daughter of the late Daniel O. and Thelma O. (Gerrick) Wagner. She was a customer service representative for Pennfield Corp. in Lancaster, retiring after 23 years of service. She was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former member of Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a 1944 graduate of West York Area High School. Mrs. Albright also is survived by two sons, John W. Albright II of York and Mark A. Albright of Round Hill, Va.; a daughter, Deborah S. Lau of Dover; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Wagner of Hanover and Larry Wagner of Atlanta, Ga.; and a sister, Catherine O. Wilhelm of York. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard B. Starr, a Lutheran minister, and the Rev. C. Wesley Willson, a retired United Methodist minister. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 947 N. George St., York 17404; or to Heartland Hospice, 2600 Eastern Blvd., Suite 209, York 17402.
