Father's name on death certificate for Aurore Z. Spenard was Hormidas Montpas. Her daughter Irene (Spenard) Bergeron states that his name was Armeni Gil Montpas. In the research of Jacqueline Merpaw, she has him listed as Joseph-Hermenegilde Montpas. St. Joseph's Church in North Grosvenordale, CT., they have him listed as Hermen Monpas on his death records and Harmengilde Monpas as the spouse for Agathe Dore or Doree. In researching at the American-Canadian Genealogical Society in Manchester, NH, I discovered that the spelling of his last name was Maupas on the wedding records. The Canadian Birth/Baptismal Records list his name as Joseph Hermene Monpas.

There is no grave marker for my great-grandfather, he is buried in the section named "The Men of St Joseph" located within this cemetery.
