Arthur married Lily S. Kirk (1902-1983) on December 18, 1923 in Bowling Green, MO., and they had two children: Arthur (of Farmington, MI) and Edith Fadonna (Donna) Thomas Look (of Berkley, MI).
Arthur served with the U.S. Army in World War I and was a member of Acorn Post 1669, VFW, Royal Oak, MI. He was a die setter for the Ford Motor Co. until 1944; and was head custodian at Longfellow School, Hazel Park, MI, from 1944 until his retirement, because of ill health, in 1957.
