Born Feb. 26 1878, he was a son of Martin and Rebecca Cassidy Snyder. He had spent practically all his life in Mercer and vicinity. He had been employed for several years at Langdon's Department Store. and more recently, had worked at the Mercer Sanitarium and the Reznor Manufacturing Co.
He belonged to the Methodist Church of Mercer. He leaves his wife, Sadie Adamson Snyder, two daughters, Minnie Snyder and Mrs. Bessie Snyder Vernan, and son Harry, all of Youngstown.
Another son Walter Jr., died earlier this year.
A brother, Samuel L. Snyder, Mercer, and a sister, Mrs. Walter Beil, Greenville,
Mrs. Theodore Craig presided at the organ and pallbearers were Samuel, Howard, Robert and Earl Beil, Ed Steen and Robert Barr.
Burial: was in Old Findley Cemetery.
