Mrs. Hoisington, 69, Dies After 8-Month Illness



Mrs. Maude R. Hoisington, 69, of 732 Maple street, succumbed today at 10:45 a.m. at Pawating hospital after an illness of eight months.

A resident of Niles for the past 30 years, Mrs. Hoisington had come here from Berrien Springs in 1916. She had been born in Ovid, Aug. 21, 1877. Here she was a member of the First Baptist church.

Survivors include: four sons, Paul W. Hoisington, Niles; Perry F. Hoisington, Chambersburg, Pa.; Donald Hoisington, Kodiak Island, Alaska; and Earl L. Hoisington, Chicago Heights, Ill.; nine grandchildren, and a brother J. Clayton French, Lansing.

Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home, where services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Clarence Graham officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
