Graduate of the Iliff School Of Theology, Denver, Colorado. Son of Zack Foster and Gertrude Mead Foster. Husband of Alice May Crooks Foster, of Broomfield, Colorado, 1911-1993 (married 1935). Father of Doris Bernardini (McLean, Virginia); Eldridge Clarence Foster, 1938-2014 (formerly of Alexandria, Virginia-last resided in El Paso, Texas); and, Nila Brummund (Broomfield, Colorado).
