Obituary: Fond du Lac (WI) Reporter, Mar. 7, 2006. Lucille M Loehr, 90, formerly of W1398 Highway 23, Mount Calvary, died Monday, March 6, 2006, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac, where she resided for the past 4 years.

She was born Nov. 5, 1915, in Medford, a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Wuest Riegert.

Lucille granduated from St. Mary's Springs High School in Fond du Lac.

On June 25, 1940, she married Leo Loehr at Presentation Catholic Church in North Fond du Lac; he preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1977.

Lucille was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church in the Town of Osceola and a member of the Christian Women's Society.

Survivors include two sons, Rev. James Loehr of Oconomowoc and Bill (Linda) Loehr of Fond du Lac; three daughters, Mary (Bob) Salchert of St. Cloud, Betty Schmidt of Idstein, Germany and Carol (Jeff) Broecker of Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren, Kris (Mark) Kairalla, Sue (Bill) Pollard, Sharon (Todd) Loga, Kim (Jeff) Welsch, Michael Salchert, Lisa (Kevin) Schaefer, Jennie (Michael) Pollock, and Karin Broecker; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norbert (Alice) Riegert and Raymond (Millie) Riegert; three sisters-in-law, Lillian Pipping, Marion Leonard and Rita Loehr; a brother-in-law, Art (Mary Jane) Loehr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; a brother, Harold Riegert; and a son-in-law, Karlheinz Schmidt.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2006, at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden. The Rev. James Loehr, Lucille's son, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Dotyville.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Sippel Funeral Home, 1311 Thorp St., St. Cloud, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church. A prayer servicce will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shepherd of the Hills Parish or to the St. Francis Home Employee Appreciation Fund.

We want to thank the staff at St. Francis Home for the love and care given to Mom over the past four years.
