Velma Youngblood Sherrod, 95 of Pavo, passed away March 10, 2017 at Camellia Gardens. Born April 19, 1921 in Barney, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hardie and Ernie Johnson Youngblood. On May 13, 1939 in Florida she married Odis Sherrod, who preceded her in death. She worked for Warners as a seamstress and cashier.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Larry and Cathy; daughters-in-law, Elaine and Shirley; Grandchildren, JoAnn, Patricia, Wanda, Nancy, Edward and Michael; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and sister, Venita.
She was preceded in death by sons, Joe Sherrod and Odis Douglas Sherrod and granddaughter, Beth Sherrod.
