Alfred was born May 20, 1927 in Nettleton, Mississippi to Marion F. Priddy and Jessie C. Pearle Priddy. He joined the United States Army and served in Germany, Vietnam, and Korea. Alfred married June Hilliard September 1, 1951 in Mississippi. He retired from the Army June 30, 1974, after more than 20 years of service. He continued to work on Fort Hood in Civil Service. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Priddy was preceded in death by one son, Allen M. Priddy in March 2004 and by two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife June Hilliard Priddy of Copperas Cove; two sons, Anthony T. Priddy of Copperas Cove and Alfred C. Priddy Jr., of Colorado; five grandchildren, Christopher Priddy, Joshua Priddy, Anthony Michael Priddy, Samantha Priddy and Michael C. Priddy; and one great-grandchild.
