Mary Alice Thompson, 83, Louisville, formerly of Marion County, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, Golden Living Center, Louisville.
Thompson was born in Marion County Feb. 4, 1927.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph Aloysius "Alo" Thompson; parents, Joseph Andrew and Catherine Mae Cheshire Bowman; and a grandson, Mathew Hall.
Survivors include: three daughters, Phyllis (Leo) Hodapp of Louisville, Mary (Dennis) Hall of Shepherdsville and Cathy (Doug) Ballard of Louisville; five sons, Louis, Dennis and Allen (Cathy) Thompson, all of Louisville, Bobby Thompson of Lebanon and David Thompson of Bloomington, Ind.; a brother, J.A. (Claudia) Bowman of Leitchfield; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick. Rev. Jim Graf officiated.
Pallbearers were Lee Hodapp, Michael Thompson, Joe Hall, Jason Overstreet, Bobby Joe Thompson and Josh McMillan. Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements
