Mrs. Marjorie Mae Morris Brann, age 76, passed away on October 1, 2010. She was a retired employee of Warsaw Ben Franklin and the Warsaw Christian Book Store. She was a member of Newland Church of Christ and faithfully attended Calvary United Methodist Church until her health prevented her from attending. She was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking for her family, friends and extended family. She was viewed as a "second Mother" to many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Brann was predeceased by her father, Russell Hampton Morris, mother, Eva Mae Morris, sister, Lucille M. Settle, and brother, George Walter Morris. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James M. "Jimmy" Brann, Jr.; daughter, Elaine Brann Bryant; grandson, James Matthew Bryant; sister, Evelyn M. Neale (Joseph); sister in law, Laura B. Barrett; sister in law, Shirley B. Morris; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on October 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church with Reverend James Rowland officiating. Interment will be in Calvary United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening. Pallbearers will be Matthew Bryant, Wayne Barrett, Jonathan Barrett, Reece Bosse, Joseph Neale and Joe Neale. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church.
