Mr Clement A. Mosley died on Friday, the 12th instant. He was the son of Mr. Brantley Mosley, who came from North Carolina in the first part of the last century (sic), one of the first settlers of Montgomery Co. He was at one time married to Miss Annie Connell (sic), but their marriage proved an unhappy one and they separated years ago. His son, Mr. B.A. Mosley, of Lothair, is one of our best citizens.

He was buried at his old home near Vidalia, where he had reserved an acre of land for burial purposes. He is now resting beneath the little mound of new clay where he will await the reward of a long life.

NOTE: HE WAS A SON OF BRANTLEY MOSLEY, JR (NOT SR) AND HIS WIFE, LAVINIA SULLIVAN, BOTH BORN IN GEORGIA.
