Harry B. Andes

Harry B. Andes, 92, of 14765 North Valley Pike, New Market, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock. Mr. Andes had been a patient at Adonai Gardens Adult Home in Woodstock for the past six months.

He was born Dec. 31, 1913, at Timberville and was a son of the late Harper and Minnie Fulk Andes.

He worked at Court Manor as a young man. Later he was employed by Long's Poultry and retired from Tysons in New Market.

He was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church in New Market.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie K. Zirkle Andes; a daughter, Connie Olinger of New Market; two sisters, Ruby Rhodes of Broadway and Virginia Holland of Penn Laird; two brothers, Forest Andes of Broadway and Earl Andes of Willis, Texas; and two grandsons.

The Rev. Jeffrey Sonafelt conducted a funeral service Monday at Reformation Lutheran Church.

Private interment followed.

The family received friends at the Theis Funeral Chapel in New Market on Sunday.
