Stacie Lynn Deutscher, 40, of Michigan City passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Church with the Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Burial will follow mass in Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, IN. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home and on Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Church.
A wake service will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home.
Stacie as born July 14, 1970 in Valparaiso, IN to Albert and Catherine (Mazarek) Czap. Her mother is preceding her in death and her father is surviving in Valparaiso, IN. Also surviving is her step-mother Linda Czap of Valparaiso.
On September 10, 1994 in Valparaiso, IN she married Ron Deutscher who is surviving in Michigan City.
Also surviving are two daughters: Ashleigh and Amanda both of Michigan City; two sons: Brandon and Connor both of Michigan City; one granddaughter: Breanna Hayes of Michigan City; one brother: Chris (Beth Black) Czap of Valparaiso; in-laws: Ronald and Marie Deutscher of Michigan City; sister-in-laws: Robin (Randy) Lewis and Starr Ayers both of Michigan City; numerous nieces and nephews.
Stacie was a office manager for La Porte Regional Physicians Network.
She was a member of Queen of All Saints Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to a trust fund set up for her children at Horizon Bank.
