He worked directly with Bob Hope and Laurel & Hardy and had a great passion for golf.

Gene Charles Duval of Santa Ana passed away October 30, 1977.
Survived by his wife, Mildred Duval, Santa Ana; daughters Marilyn Patterson, Santa Ana; Laura Hannon, Laguna Beach; Cynthia Jenkins; Corona, Barbara Duval, Santa Ana; nine grandchildren; brother Glenn Duval, Torrance.
In lieu of flowers, friends who care to may make donations to Leukemia Society of America.
Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, November 2nd. Graveside at Fairhaven, Dr. Gerald S. Bash will officiate. Directed by Winbigler Family Mortuary.
