In about 1892 she married Louis Joseph Veraghen, probably in Humboldt Township, Brown Wisconsin. The couple lived in Humboldt and Green Bay, Wisconsin prior to moving their family to Nadeau Township, Menominee, Michigan, in 1905.
They purchased what is known as the Regan farm in Nadeau Township, where she and her family lived, until losing the property during the Great Depression. In 1941, the Piche family (Daughter Hazel's husband and in-laws), and others, built her and her husband a new home at N13800 Old Highway 41, in Nadeau. As her grandson, Bob Piche, recalled, the basement was dug with the help of horses, and the stone foundation was laid by hand.
Selina spent the last two years of her life receiving cancer treatment in Flint, Michigan, while living with her daughter, Mary, son Joseph, and their families.
