CARSON ADAMS, 69, RETIRED WABASH CONDUCTOR, DIES

Carson Adams, 69, retired Wabash conductor, died at 8:35 o'clock last night in Wabash Hospital.

Forn on a farm near Huntsville, he lived in Moberly for 42 years until a few years ago, when he and his wife went to Huntsville.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Beisdes his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. B. E. Zook, Laramie, Wyo. and Mrs. H. L. King, Los Altos, Calif.; three granddaughters, Judith Ann Zook and Sandra and Barbara King; two brothers, R. O Adams, south of Moberly, and J. A. Adams, West Palm Beach. Fla.; and a sister, Mrs. Willard A. tErrill, northwest of Moberly.

The body is in the Mahan Funeral Parlors and services will be held in the chapel there at 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon by the Rev. C. W. Cornn, Christian Church minister. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
