Lawrence "Bob" was the son of Richard Walter and Emma Strange Jones. He was born in Burns City, IN on Oc5 18, 1913. He was a graduate of Burns City HS.
On Aug 27, 1935 he married Lucine Padgett and they were the parents of four children. Lawrence moved north as he found work in Lafayette, IN. He was an electrician for 34 years at the Ross Gear Division of TRW in Lafayette, IN. He was a charter member of Blessed Sacrament Church in West Lafayette and was instrumental in installing electrical equipment at the church during construction. He farmed 40 acre for many years and had a large wonderful garden all his life.
Lawrence and Lucine celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversay and were married for 59 years.
