He was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, and he worked as a farmer, in construction, and as a wood craftsman.
Mr. Garrison was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church for 73 years.
Surviving are his niece and two nephews,
and their spouses; grand and great-grand nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was also pre-
ceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Roberts, Robbie Garrison, Awanda Clark; brothers, Carl and Alton Garrison; and a nephew, Gene
Garrison.
His funeral service was Saturday, September
25, 2010, in the chapel of West Funeral Home.
