George Adkins, 83, died Monday in a Madison hospital following a long illness. Surviving: sons, Milford of Mud, Arnold and Sescoe both of Tampa, FLa; daughters, Mrs. Lennie Hager of Spurlockville and Hazel Stevens of Midkiff; brother, Thornt Adkins of St. Albans. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Koontz Funeral Home at Hamlin. Burial will be in the Hager Cemetery at Mud. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:30 p.m. today.
