Nicolas G Wiest passed away on September 13, 2010, at the age of 27, in Orem, Utah. He was welcomed by many family members in the life beyond.
He was born July 1, 1983, in Provo, UT. He graduated from Orem High in 2001.
Nico was a loving son, brother and dedicated friend. Nico had a passion for sports, but more specifically basketball, football, baseball and snowboarding. Nico enjoyed good health and maintained that good health through constant exercise.
He loved the outdoors. He was always eager to go on a hike, camping or fishing.
Nico was a talented individual and loved to work with his hands, especially his expertise in home construction and remodeling. A side not known to many, Nico loved to bake desserts and often prepared treats for his family. Above all, Nico loved his family and laughing while playing games on Sunday evenings.
Nico attended the Utah Valley University and was studying computer science.
Nico is survived by his parents, Barton and Maricarmen; and his siblings, Andres, Alejandro (Shandi), Vanessa (Jesse) Vincent, and Veronika.
Nico was preceded in his death by Grandpa "Bigotes", Uncle Rick, Tio Carlos, Aunt Phyllis, and Cousin Anna.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 17th, 2010; at 2 p.m. at the LDS Orem Aspen 6th Ward Chapel, located at 1546 N 1100 W, Orem , Utah. Family and friends may call from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
